আজকের পোস্টে Common Error Correction Rules in Bengali PDFটি শেয়ার করলাম। WBCS সহ যেকোনো পরীক্ষায় ইংলিশের Error Correction এর উপর প্রায়শই প্রশ্ন এসে থাকে। আর তাই Error Correction করার কিছু নিয়ম আপনাদের অবশ্যই মনে রাখতে হবে। আর সেই নিয়মগুলো মেনেই আপনারা প্রশ্ন গুলির সঠিক উত্তর দিতে পারবেন।
সুতরাং সময় নষ্ট না করে নমুনা গুলি দেখে নিন এবং নীচের দেওয়া লিংক থেকে সম্পূর্ণ ফ্রীতে পিডিএফ ফাইলটি সংগ্রহ করে নিন।
কিছু নমুনা দেওয়া হলো ::
1) He brought two bread - এ ক্ষেত্রে এই বাক্যটির ব্যবহার ভুল কারণ bread এর plural হয় না , টুকরো রুটিকে loaf বলে, তার plural loaves
তাই সঠিক বাক্যটি হলো - He bought two loaves.
2) She wrote a poetry - এ ক্ষেত্রে এই বাক্যটির ব্যবহার ভুল কারণ poetry হলো plural, একটি কবিতা বোঝাতে poem ব্যবহার করতে হয়
তাই সঠিক বাক্যটি হলো - She wrote a poem.
3) The weather of this place is suitable for me - এ ক্ষেত্রে এই বাক্যটির ব্যবহার ভুল কারণ weather হলো জলবায়ুর দৈনন্দিন অবস্থা আর climate হলো কোনো স্থানের স্থিতিশীল আবহাওয়ার বৈশিস্ট্য
তাই সঠিক বাক্যটি হলো - The climate of this place is suitable for me.
4) He has bought a quantity of pens - এ ক্ষেত্রে এই বাক্যটির ব্যবহার ভুল কারণ quantity মানে পরিমান যা uncountable noun এর ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য
তাই সঠিক বাক্যটি হলো - He has bought a number of pens.
5) Put your sign here - এ ক্ষেত্রে এই বাক্যটির ব্যবহার ভুল কারণ sign হলো এবং signature হলো noun
তাই সঠিক বাক্যটি হলো - Put your signature here.
6) The girls know the alphabets - এ ক্ষেত্রে এই বাক্যটির ব্যবহার ভুল কারণ alphabet মানেই বর্ণমালা যাতে সবগুলো বর্ণ থাকে তাই এর plural ফর্মের প্রয়োজন হয় না
তাই সঠিক বাক্যটি হলো - The girl know the alphabet.
7) He ate two third of the meat - এ ক্ষেত্রে এই বাক্যটির ব্যবহার ভুল কারণ two thirds = 2/3 , ভগ্নাংশের উপরে 1 এর চেয়ে বেশি কোনো সংখ্যা হলে তা হবে plural
তাই সঠিক বাক্যটি হলো - He ate two thirds of the meat.
8) This pen is her - এ ক্ষেত্রে এই বাক্যটি ভুল কারণ her এর জায়গায় hers ব্যবহৃত হয় যেহেতু be + possessive noun এই রূপে ব্যবহৃত হয় | ঐ possessive এর পর যদি কোনো noun থাকত তবে her ব্যবহৃত হত
তাই সঠিক বাক্যটি হলো - This pen is hers.
